Reforestation Turmeric
Grown on a verdant mountainside in Costa Rica, this golden-orange turmeric plays a key role in rebuilding healthy forests on land that had been clear-cut for cattle ranching. Our partners have successfully reforested the land over decades, planting native trees and re-establishing a layer of healthy topsoil. Sweet and gingery, this turmeric is perfect for beverages, curries, sauces and rice.
Our turmeric is free of lead, testing below the detectable threshold of 0.1 parts per million (ppm). It has been tested in an internationally accredited food safety testing lab. Please contact us for more details on our testing procedures for turmeric and other spices.
